Rack Of Ribs Instant Pot Recipe

Allow pot to perform a natural release for 15 minutes.
Rack of ribs instant pot recipe. First generously sprinkle the super secret family dry rub all over the ribs flipping them over to get both sides covered in rub mix. Step 2 cut the rack of ribs into 4 equal portions. Add broth or water and liquid smoke if using. For baby back ribs.

To cook frozen baby back ribs in your instant pot use a pressure cook time of 35 minutes plus a 15 minute natural pressure release. Place trivet inside the inner liner of the instant pot. If you re using one large rack of ribs then circle them around the pot.

The rack of ribs will have to already be cut in half so that it will fit in the instant pot since you won t be able to curve a frozen rack of ribs to make it fit. Remove the membrane from the ribs. Place the ribs upright with the meat side facing out. Cook on high manual pressure for 23 minutes if you are making multiple racks and your ribs are super meaty increase to 25 minutes.
Place the rib rack inside the pot curving the ribs to make them fit. Mix together brown sugar paprika smoked paprika garlic powder onion powder and salt in a small bowl.
